Shut up and train!

I’ve finally gotten back into really training at Kuk Sool. I have good days and bad, like everyone. I also have a really bad habit of letting my bad days keep me out of class. I was talking to one of my instructors, and he mentioned what an instructor of his tells his students when they’re having bad days. “Shut up and train.” It’s one of those things that is much easier to say than to do. We all can find excuses not to do it. I have lupus, arthritis, and my left shoulder frequently decides it doesn’t want to stay in its socket. Going to class hurts. But, if I want to get to where I want to be, I need to shut up and train. If I want to get past where I want to be, I need to shut up and train. If I want to make any progress at all, I need to shut up and train. Day one started this morning. Now, to keep it going.
